The trials and tribulations of social media marketing

How pushy can you be when you are self-employed, to try and encourage new clients?

I'm naturally quite respectful of the privacy and boundaries of others, maybe I'm just a little bit too polite and English when it comes to shouting about my business?

I forget, that with social media, people CHOOSE to look at what you've put out. If they don't want to, they don't have to, so can I really worry that my business posts will annoy you?

I'd like to say that I've done things differently trying to build up my business again in North Devon, and since the re-brand, but one thing still remains the same, I like it, when my clients come from personal recommendation.

I know, that when my clients come to me from this avenue, those clients will undoubtedly stay with me.

This, of course takes time, but how long can I sit and wait for this to happen? I can't! I have to multi-task. Whilst waiting for those recommendations to come through, I have to put myself out there, spend endless hours on social media just trying to capture attention.

So how are you not pushy, annoying or boring? It doesn't matter does it? You will either look, watch, read and listen to what I am putting out there, or you won't. Are you reading this blog for instance because you have read my other ones or seen my videos? Then you probably engage in all I do, my posts, jokes and videos, because you interested and supportive in what I am trying to achieve - Total Mind and Body Wellness for everyone.

So, if you are in the above category of amazing supporter, you are probably also telling everyone about what I do, sharing my posts, answering my questions, laughing at my awful jokes. YOU hold the secret to how I get more clients.

There is something that I do that you like, that you can relate to.
What is it?
What do I do that engages you into my business world?
Are you a client, friend or family member? (by the way, all my clients are also my friends!)
OR, are you someone watching from afar?
Maybe one day you will reach out to me and ask for help? Or ask for my help with a loved one?

If I have the secret of what holds the attention of a few, then maybe I can build an even bigger and better business?

AND if you are reading this now, maybe you can give me some feedback?
What is it you like about my posts?
Do you love or hate my jokes?
Are you a fan of my sugar-free recipes?
Is it my honesty that draws you in?
Let me know!
