Don't fear change.

Image
CHANGE is always going to be part of life, it's inevitable, and yet a lot of us fear it. IN spring the buds grow, in summer the flowers bloom, in autumn the leaves fall and in winter, well it's just cold isn't it? But things are still going on underground, nature is constantly evolving, and it doesn't worry about it, so why do we? MY guess is that we are lazy, why live with change if we can keep on the way we are? We are unambitious, not dedicated to living the best life that we can, but we are also living in fear of things going wrong, and that fear can take over leading us to sit comfortably without moving on in our lives. WE need to start acting like nature, we need to start living our lives, be brave, be ambitious, be challenged, otherwise what is the point of us being here at all? LIVING safety in our little comfort zones isn't going towards making the next big discovery that could change everyone's lives, settling for what we have isn't going to make ...

Simplicity

IN what respect I hear you ask? I suppose it could be in all respects, because when you over-complicate any area of your life you run the risk of not doing any of your tasks properly. BUT for today, I  am talking about your journey to mental and physical health and wellness. That sounds complex in itself, so let's say, simplify your health with a holistic approach.  CHANGE only one thing at a time. CLIENTS will suddenly want to get on their health and wellness journey and they are enthusiastic, they want it all straight away and I know only too well that it takes a lot of time and patience to get results. But they change their food, add supplements, exercise, do everything at once, and never really know what part of it is working for them. When someone comes to me, firstly I say, 'how much water do you drink?' and 90% (maybe more) of people say to me, 'not enough!' So their one change for that week, nothing else, is to drink more water, that's it! The next week...

Dive into your dreams!

HERE we go again........'you only live once! Make the most of it!' FOLLOW your DREAMS! WE all know this is a sort of a mantra of mine, and it may get boring for you, but being this way is helping me live my best life. I think you can tell by the photos that already this blog is all about the 15,000 foot tandem skydive I did at the weekend. That's the highest you can go without needing oxygen by the way! Ryan (my wonderful husband) gave me a skydive present for my 50th Birthday and I did the same for him. We have been waiting a few months for this to happen, the thing with doing things in the sky is that the weather affects it, and so we had already had three disappointing postponements.    THE day, Sunday 11th May 2025, this was the day, although we weren't sure even then that it would actually happen. We got to Dunkeswell early on Sunday morning ready for an 8am check in. There were a few skydivers and novices like us kicking about, nervous-excited, lots of visits to t...

Why I LOVE my job.

HOW many of us can say that we really love going to work? WELL I am one of the lucky ones, I love what I do for a living, I chose to do it after all, so I should do. TODAY'S blog is all about the things I consider to be most beneficial, and I am listing ten of those things. ONE. I am my own BOSS! I answer to only myself, and although I can be a bit of a taskmaster at times, I only have myself to blame for it! TWO. I get to work around my other responsibilities. I get to walk my own dogs twice a day, instead of a dog walker doing it for me like some people have to. It's the joy of having a dog, the walking bit, and I get this pleasure all to myself. I also manage to prepare and cook food for myself and my husband, do the housework and all the other things so that we can live a less hectic life. THREE. I don't have to go anywhere for work most of the time as 75% of my work is virtual and can be done at home. NO sitting in Devon's holiday traffic for hours on end. FOUR. I...
