Every problem is a valuable lesson.

THE BIG question is, how long does it take YOU to learn from a problem or mistake?

SOME of us only make a mistake once, learn from it and never do it again, that one time was enough.

I like to think that I am a fast learner, and when it comes to work, I do learn fast, it's unfortunate that in my personal life that I always seemed to make the same mistakes over and over again. However, I did finally learn, but it took a lot!

I suppose we have to look at how important it is that we learn. Work is important to me, I suppose more important than other things in my life, particularly in my past, I had nothing else really, and so that was my focus. When I learn a new skill, add something new into my business I like it to work straight away, or at least I like to make it work straight away.

When I was learning to be a radio presenter at The Voice FM, I was kicking myself constantly, I am not natural with the technology, and had to work very very hard, my concentration was at it's maximum every time I was in the studio.

I would forget to put the microphone up before talking, I learnt.

I would forget to put the microphone back down after talking, I learnt.

I would forget to put a stop on the news jingle, I soon learnt that one.

MY focus was very much on not letting anyone down, and it was obvious if I did make a mistake, with so many people listening. It really did make me a fast learner.

CLIENTS come to me for hypnotherapy, they come with troubles, problems that haven't been solved, sometimes the most simple of problems, but they are over-complicated in their minds, so much that they can't see a way out. Maybe if they had try to solve the problem when it first happened, it may have been easier to solve?

SO the key is, act straight away. Learn as soon as is possible. At the first issue, look, listen, watch, feel, put every feeling and effort into seeing where it has gone wrong, and correct it straight away.

TAKE immediate action, don't procrastinate.

EASIER said than done eh? I know, but you can try, that's all it will take.
